The State of Deseret web map was created for the Utah Territorial Statehouse State Park Museum in Fillmore, UT circa 2015. The interactive map was created on an ArcGIS Online webmap and displayed on a touch screen tablet at the museum. It had various historical boundaries and points of interest museum patrons could explore and interact with.

Historical mapping always has its share of challenges, even more so when mapping the ancient world. We cross referenced multiple sources to verify the locations of cities. A large portion of this project involved mapping a the Karnak Temple site plan from remotely-sensed imagery.

These maps depict the international travels of a religious (Catholic) icon. Creating them involved visualizing the icon’s route through hundreds of cities. Data was extracted from a non-English website containing the icon's travel itinerary.

This map is an adaptation of one in Mormon Places depicting non-English LDS units in North America. The bulk of this project involved manually gathering data from lds.org, since the data could not be downloaded. We largely focused on metropolitan areas.
